I used to think that using ustream to record the video, then convert it and and upload it to many site at once straight from the usteam user interface is the best way to distribute your video content. No uploading nor converting, ustream takes care of that for you, simply record and syndicate. However, after trying it out here is what I found out: even though ustream.tv uses a great converting service (when used directly) heywatch to convert the video before you can syndicate your video with other sites, the audio gets very degraded. I was surprised and disappointed to find this out.

Hey Robin, maybe you can write an article about this or contact Ustream directly in order for them to fix this silly preset audio setting. The reason I ask you is they won't listen to a small fish like myself. You however will have a stronger voice which certainly will be heard.
