I use a lot Google Docs for collaborating and recently started to use http://simkl.com IM history saver. A task service hitask.com also looks nice

Great collection of collaboration tool! Thanks! I also would like to share the app we are using for collaboration within our team. Our team is distributed and its members are placed in different parts of the country and we even have a couple of guys in Europe working for us. We use Wrike for collaboration. It's a very powerful but simple system, which lets us forget about the time differencies and work 24/7. Wrike is a project management tool, that allows us managing our projects with the help of e-mail. It's web-based too. I'm not th best to describe the tool and I guess it would be interesting for you to have a look by yourself. http://www.wrike.com

Thanks for a comprehensive list of collaboration tools. I currently use CommuniClique which is hosted on a web-based server and enable to exchange information via VOIP also. I am always willing to test out new verticals, is there another application that offers VOIP capabilities?

It is worth to give a try to BigAnt corporate IM which combines instant messaging, live chat, bulletin board and document management in one service.
    Website: http://www.bigantsoft.com

It acts as an instant messenger for secure business chat.
It acts as a dedicated bulletin board to sending announcement or urgent alert to all IM users or selected users. Let sender and all recipients exchange messages through a dedicate bulletin board in real time.
It acts as a document management tool to electronically store and distribute business documents through company.
