Robin Good's Master New Media: Duplicate Content Online: Issues, Problems and Good Things

    According to me duplicate content should not be related to only traffic and indexing of pages in Google or other search engines, the main issue with duplicate content is someone other taking full advantage of your content without permission and by any means if they succeed to bring lot traffic to this copied content then what is the use of your originality/creativity/expertise etc etc?
    It's of no use.
    I really hate such content republishes that don't even credit to original source. I have suffered lot from this copyright infringement.

    Forget about rest of the things and hit hard to the publisher copying your content by any way. Don't let them get your credit.

    That's what my strategy nowdays!!!!

    Can i post or put any famous news from one website with original author and website url to my MY WEBSITE news page. Is this a duplicate content as per search engine or it will be added as fresh content to my website

    If you replicate somebody's else content in full, without adding or
    contributing any additional value, Google will see it and will treat it as
    such and will always serve the original one before yours.

    no issue if Google gives importance to original page , i just want to know can i put news from antynews portal in my website news page with there links and original author , i just want to add more and more pages and news is best one since i didn't have writing power so is this good.
    Will googgle treat it as fresh content .

    There are plenty of sites that do this (see for example www.techmeme.com)
    but this is no guarantee that Google will treat them as providers of fresh
    content. It all depends on your implementation, but if you do provide some
    added value, by either aggregating specific topic news, I think you could be
    OK.

    Also you see to contradict yourself when you say: "no issue if Google gives
    importance to original page..." and then you write "Will googgle treat it as
    fresh content?" - if Google gives importance to your page it WILL treat as
    fresh content, but I doubt this will be the case.

    IT'S no issue if serach engine serve original content before my webpages , i just want to add fresh and new pages daily and as per my point of view my product news will be better, can i published news on my news page so that it can added as fresh content to my website , since iam not good writer further it is not possible to write new page daily.. so pls suggest for same
